An earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale was felt in northern Israel, in the Haifa area. According to the Israel Seismological Institute, the epicenter of the earthquake was 60 kilometers west of Israel’s coastline opposite Hanita, which is on the Lebanese border.
