Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Sunday addressed concerns about expected budget cuts as a result of Operation Protective Edge, saying that "security comes before all else."
Speaking at a the weekly cabinet meeting, being held in the Ashkelon Coast Regional Council, containing many of the Gaza border communities hardest hit during the operation, Netanyahu said, "We need to replenish what is now missing in defense funding."
He said that the expenditure in bringing security to Israeli citizens would now require the country to "buckle down."
